If you are going to leave your business in the hands of someone you have to know that person isn't it? I present to you...

I am Silvina Tano, argentina birth, of Italian roots and Spanish by adoption from more than two decades ago.

My mother the day I was born December 22, 1969, in a beautiful city called Firmat, in the south of the Province of Santa Fe, in Argentina, the heat was so intense what to birds carrying range, and I was eager to get out to explore the world!

Since then, the adventure became my destination. Small-only, I dreamed of travel, and adored the music. When I listened to “Mediterranean” by Joan Manuel Serrat, the more and more I obsessed about getting up here.

And so it was....

At the end of the ‘90s, I picked up a backpack, a few savings, my Italian passport and I went to Barcelona with a one-way ticket... and with a good dose of courage and madness. Had, in addition, with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, spoke English, and a solid experience as an executive assistant of a renowned company in argentina, in my time in Buenos Aires. 

In Spain, I continued to train, and I became fully immersed in the world of Tourism, Leisure, Hospitality and Travel, all this from the year 2000! 

My training includes:
– Higher technical Guide, Information and Tour / ticket Assistance
– Official Tourism guide of Andalusia, No. 3924
– MBA in Hospitality management and Extra -

In addition, I have participated in several courses and trainings in order to continue to enrich my skills and knowledge.

I do not like to define, but my friends and colleagues say that I am “off-road”, a hard-working, super curious; and if something gets in my head don't stop until you make it! Honest, I let myself be guided by my values and principles.

Throughout my career, I have been as the joker in a card game: I have worked in all departments imaginable, from human resources to address, through sales, reservations and up to revenue management. ¡Basically, I am a “Wonder Woman” tourism!

I develop fluent in Spanish, Italian, English, Catalan... and I dare with the French and the Portuguese.

I have lived for a job in Argentina, UK, Italy, Norway and Portugal, managing to develop coping skills, and empathy, as well as the ability to work with partners at national and international level, almost a master of international diplomacy... or at least that I've said to myself while trying to decipher the body language of my boss is Norwegian and the sarcasm of my british colleague!

The role of the Project Manager Digital allows me to contribute ideas and to manage teams and processes, to ensure that the companies with which I collaborate, be more productive and work better and in less time.

What more can I ask for?

Yes, something more, I want to work with companies that have my same values: honesty, empathy, and tenacity. I believe in the synergy that arises when you connect with people, and companies related to it.

And since not everything in life is work, I'll tell you a little bit of what I do in my free time:

  • I love to read and go for a walk with my dog, Yerach, who I love and care for as a daughter. I love watching films, traveling in a motorhome and discover new places with my brother while we carry our backpacks in tow.
  • ¡Playing sports since I have memory! In my youth I played tennis, volleyball, football (I am a passionate of this sport thanks to my dad). Now I am hooked to the paddle, I've got my group of hiking and I do cycling in the mountains whenever I can...you know: "Mens sana in corpore sano". 
  • I really enjoy the company of my friends, taking something and, like a good “Italian”, taste any of the dishes prepared, “my mom”.
